Where lies the windows to the soul?
Poets and dreamers think it dwells in the eyes
They are aids to mirror the heart’s desires.
Orbs of glass, with cloudy lenses
Cataract driven wonders
Dirty windows to a starlit wonderland.
Eyes that hurt more than heal,
Fiery balls of pain become globes of despair.
If they are gone, will they really be lost?
Pain-free, pressure free.
Break the soul’s windows
Open the mind to more than cloudy murkiness
Release the pain, and free the body from its drowsy captivity
The soul will see
As the mind’s eye opens to infinity
