Emylle on Wheels – Episode #3
English Text:
In this comic, Emylle, our heroine, who’s a woman in a wheelchair, with short, curly in waits at the bus stop. A large bear stands beside her.
The bear notices Emylle and sits down, starting a conversation by saying, “Are you in school?”
Surprised, Emylle replies, “I… I was taking an undergrad psychology course.”
The bear then starts a monologue, “I see. You have to comprehend your own mind, so that you can master it. And then you’ll be able to have full control of your body, and will overcome your limitations, like your disability. If you master your mind, you can do anything you want. It’s called manifesting.”
Emylle’s completely done. She replies to the bear, whose eyes grow wide: “So, are you saying that if I think hard enough you’ll quit talking crap?”
