Thaddaus Martin – Texas, USA

Thaddaus is a musician, gamer, lifelong student, film enthusiast, and speculative fiction bookworm and author. He’s often guilty of escaping the Texas heat in his imagination, dreaming of rainy days and snowy peaks while burning coffee-scented candles at home. An early passion for language and narrative form and structure led him to pursue a BA in Creative Writing and English with a concentration in Fiction. Alongside boocoos of caffeine and Asian cuisine, he’s sustained by his work as an on-staff academic and creative writing tutor for undergrads and time well-spent with his amazing spouse, friends, and mini Bernedoodle.
Andi Magana – Georgia, USA

Andi is a Mexican-American enthusiast of the humanities and a lover of literature and cats. She is an Atlanta-area resident who loves reading flash fiction, translations, poetry, and fantasy novels. With an interest in different genres and styles, she also values opportunities to develop her editing and work-shopping skills with fellow writers. It was in a creative writing class that she discovered her love of writing and hopes to publish her short stories or even a book one day. In her free time, she enjoys learning different craft skills, traveling, painting, and watching history documentaries or video essays on various topics.


Emma Diehl – Ohio, USA

Emma Diehl is a recent graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor’s in English pre-Law. During her time at OU, Emma contributed to several local literary journals, served as the vice president of two writing clubs and the editor-in-chief of Elephant Eyes Literary Journal, and played trumpet for The Thursday Night Jazz Band in her free time. After traveling in Ireland, Emma plans to either attend law school and focus on education law and students’ rights or join an indie band as a trumpet/bass player, whichever one comes first.
Helen A. Lee – Illinois, USA

Helen A. Lee (she/her) is a Kansas native and Chicago-area resident with 20+ years of writing and editing experience. She has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a master’s degree in biology from Miami University in Ohio. Her work has been published in many magazines, newspapers, books, and online publications, including Looper.com, the Chicago Windy City Guide, The Pretty Pimple, Simplemost, The Happy Puppy Site, the Chicago Tribune, and Gamespot.com. She’s a single mom with one child who enjoys volunteering in her spare time.

Sue Cook – Illinois, USA

Sue Cook (she/her) lives in Illinois with her husband Randy and dogs. Her passions include assistance dogs, rescue dogs, music, acting, theater, poetry, and Doctor Who. She’s been in both film and theater and is a regular cast member of the podcast Doctor Who’s Line is it….Anyway? Sue is an advocate for the use of Service Dogs to assist their disabled handlers to maintain their independence. Quigley’s Quest, her first children’s book, addresses how a dog becomes a Service Dog.

Faris Ridzuan – Singapore

Faris is a multilingual musician, artist, and writer. He has played roles such as education and youth policy officer, tech product policy manager, branding and curriculum lead, strategy lead, manpower lead, and social science and interdisciplinary researcher. He is due to graduate soon with a Master’s in Malay Studies from the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he tutored Asian and Malay Studies, winning teaching awards. Faris graduated from NUS with a First Class Honours in Sociology, minoring in European Studies. He has been leading national, regional & global initiatives such as Youth Panel Member for AMP 4th National Convention, Global Project Advisor for Connecting Climate Minds, and Co-Lead for Asia, Global Indigenous Youth Summit on Climate Change. Faris was awarded the prestigious NUS Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2023.

MJ Delfin – Mexico City, Mexico

MJ Delfin is a Mexican-American feminist writer and cat mom who dreams in English instead of her native Spanish, with a Literature degree from The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and a special interest in Shakespeare, fantasy, and folklore. Subtitle editor, translator, and fledgling voice actress. Currently works, happily, at a museum. Her stories have been dramatized in several podcasts (Sin aliento, Vanya Reads, the 80 Cuentos bilingual anthology by Studio Ochenta), posted in online literary magazines (Revista Marabunta, Revista Irradiación, The MockingOwl Roost) and will soon be published formally by ITA Editorial.

Janet Wright – North Yorkshire, UK

An avid reader since childhood, Janet loves nothing better than to curl up on the sofa and lose herself within the tactile pages of a physical book. She’s open to any genre, though her favourites are historical crime, time travel, and Gothic horror. Her passions are C17th embroidery, teddy bears, and visiting Venice. She’s Mum to two grown sons, and Grandma to two young grandsons who already know far more about information technology than she does. Janet writes under the pseudonym Rosetta Yorke. Her short stories, poetry, and micro fiction have been published in a variety of anthologies and magazines.

With over six years’ experience in journalism and editing, she’s interviewed authors, academics, Nobel and Pulitzer laureates, and leading cultural voices. Perri Dodgson – England

Perri Dodgson was born into an RAF family, which meant travelling extensively and receiving a disjointed education. Her first job was a layout designer for a publishing house, then for twenty years she worked in the care sector, looking after the elderly and mentally ill. Now retired and living in Wellingborough, England, and after joining a writing group, she discovered the joy of writing. She has had features published in magazines and online literary magazines and been ‘highly recommended’ in a national competition. She also explores interior design and embroidery. Currently she is researching for her book which will be a biography.

Susan Carberry – London, UK

Susan lives in NW London. Her poems are an eclectic mix of social commentary, the natural world, the human condition, humour, and her deep faith in God, and they appear in several anthologies. She recently published her own poetry booklet, Eternal Ephemera. Susan is a Poet in Residence to the gardeners of Roundwood Park. She reads her work for events at the City Literature Institute, and has begun writing flash fiction and short stories. She’s a familiar figure in her local cafes and restaurants, where she sits with a coffee and writes, gaining inspiration from the world around her.

Issy Jinarmo is the pen name for the writing trio Jill Baggett, Narelle Noppert and Maureen Kelly OAM. We live far apart, Mudgee, Picton and Adelaide, but started writing never ending stories by email during the lockdown. We have had eight stories published in anthologies and magazines. We never tire of seeing where our next story will take us.
