The characters, even the ancillary characters, came alive on the pages. It was beautiful, horrible, deadly, life affirming and didn’t shy away from asking tough questions.
Extasia lived up to its name, ecstasy. I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this dizzying rollercoaster ride. My emotions ran rampant as I read. I worked through every single emotion from laughter, squeamishness, anger, to victory fist pumps.
It was a difficult read for me because I wanted to cheat so badly and skip to the end to find out what happened. Don’t judge me too harshly. I never do that with a book I am reviewing, so I kept to the path. I didn’t skip ahead and was very glad I allowed the book to unfold the mystery. It was almost as if I was uncovering Tess’s reaction to God’s love, voice, and grace throughout the book.
Reading this book was like climbing onto a rollercoaster that cascaded to its end in a dark mountain. You never knew where the next thrilling twist would take you. I devoured the pages in one day, as if I was starving and the book was my only meal.
It’s written with such passion, and truth that you can feel what each character is going through. And as a result, I found that it took an emotional toll on me and was hard to read at times. Hard or not, I had to find out what happened next.
This book is an emotional rollercoaster, and I really enjoyed the adrenaline pumping action. Violence, tenderness, love, loyalty, death, and betrayal play across the pages like an intricate melody that never fully resolves.
Fir and his brothers are swept up in a quest for freedom. They encounter many trials, but freedom is worth the struggle, isn’t it? Is The Hive Queen their key? Find out in this glorious sequel to The Bond.
A Brush With Love is one of those romance novels that restores my faith in the genre. Not only is the craft of writing well-executed on these charming pages, but the author digs deeply into a lot of challenging emotional moments and deals very beautifully with a main character who deals regularly with anxiety – deep anxiety.
Worlds and life are not always what they appear to be. Dinitra 584-KxA finds that out in a big way. Is anything as it seems? What is the truth? Huge questions, and an amazing story to back them up.
This book is freakin' awesome! I am a Zombie fan. I even played one on a YouTube series, so Zombies have a special place in my heart. I began reading this book with a bit of uncertainty as to whether it would be the same old Zombie story. Bite, infect, repeat, die. Yes, biting occurs which leads to infection, but the infection can be transmitted in different ways.
