Young woman standing under a tree with a sword and cape, moon in background - A Girl Called Enough

                      Image created onCanva

Long have I thought on my name
                      Girl
                         Woman
                               Submissive rib from his side.
Advantage was taken of my age
                                                           my mind

I was never good enough to be taken seriously.
                      Liar
                        Child
                           Actress.
A fool’s folly to be squashed before any could believe.

A woman’s cry of “stroke!” fell on deaf ears.
Learn to read, write, tell time…
                      One.
                        Two.
                           Three.
And still the little “liar” suffered.

“Are you sure you are not being emotional?
Stand up! I am sure it’s all in your mind.”

Then another of their kind believed and I found my name.
                      It is Enough!

                      I am Enough,
and I will not listen to the chatter that falls about me.

My words are power, and Enough to carry my pain to the gods of relief.

The valleys of death I traversed called me
                                                                                        Valkyrie
                                                                                             Warrior
                                                                                                  Athena

To all the halls of screams I cry out my name and call to my sisters that also carry the name.

                      I am Enough!
                      You are Enough!
                      We are Enough!

A square image featuring a lighthearted, autumnal, and festive Halloween theme with a cartoon illustration style. The scene shows a group of five children in costumes—including a ghost, a pirate, a bunny, and a prisoner/zebra—standing outside a doorway for trick-or-treating. One child dressed as a stylized version of Frankenstein's monster is standing in the doorway. Two large carved jack-o'-lanterns are visible on the sides. The background is a soft beige color, and the overall mood is whimsical and family-friendly.
