A Midweek Bath and Guilty Pleasure TV – Positivity Corner

It might seem a trifle to some – and, honestly, it is – but for me, a relaxing bath is one of the most releasing, healing things I can do for myself. Semi-regular baths in near-scaling water filled with lovely bath oils, a fragrant bath bomb or bubble bath, does something for me that no other relaxation technique can.

One of the standards I have run across many times myself as a writer and journalist has been that of punishing writers for speaking their minds and expressing their voices. I can think of many times a professor, a fellow journalist, or writer’s club member has mentioned being suppressed at the hands of their editor(s). The editor holds all the power.

My Morning Tea Routine

I’ve drunk hot tea on the regular for many years anyway, but I’d never formalized this as something intentional — it always just happened before when I had time. I never made it a priority, but since doing so, it has opened up productivity, energy, and positive vibes for my day.
