Water
Image created on Canva
Water running flowing crashing smashing against the rocks of life.
I slip a knife in between waves and slice anxiety in half
The seaweed laughs at our attempts to be normal.
Now I’m a shipwreck there’s no jewels on board
no captain’s words to make the boat move faster.
The water overflows onto land and submerges it in my deep dark soul.
The brain has no control here you see it’s all about the heart and the blood that makes its way through fractured arteries.
