Mystery Eats Schematics

I believed in answers
until God revealed
Questions.
Mystery consumes schematics
like heat on ice.
I had heard of faith.
I had been told of grace.
Others paved a path for my feet
then God touched
white-hot coals to my lips.
Transformation requires
great heat.
The pursuit of vision
leaves scars.
If Mystery Eats Schematics resonated with you, these past poems from the MockingOwl Roost explore similar themes of innocence, wonder, and the bittersweet beauty of youth.
