Brooms Taking Flight
Image by Suna Valid from Unsplash
I am staying at a friend’s house,
and inside by the front door,
her broom rests,
waiting for her to take it
for a ride in the skies.
Yes, it is October,
getting ready for one of her favorite times,
October 31st, Halloween.
Ride, my friend, ride.
Ride the skies on your broom
as you wear your witch’s garb.
Let me see your skill in the skies,
flying along with all the other broom riders.
