Autumn Rain
Image created on Canva
It was raining leaves,
and he was outside trying
to catch each one with his rake,
as if to catch
every drop from a rainstorm.
Some of the leaves are caught,
so many others drift away,
and yet,
maybe, he will get them
on the second or third try.
