                      Do you wish to be reborn?
                      Let me place a rune on your tongue
                      to free your true voice
                      and draw a sigil above your heart
                      for courage and vision.
                      Step into my cauldron—
                      I will bring you to a slow simmer,
                      unspooling your stories with your ligature;
                      muscles and sinew separating from bone.
                      I will devour your past with my iron teeth.
                      Sit in the womb-like dark
                      thru a fall of stars,
                      as the moon
                      puts on a new skin,
                      and step out reformed.
