Another Christmas
Image created on Canva
Another Christmas you’re in heaven
Not so far away.
I look out in the sunshine
And see you every day.
Your beauty’s in the flowers
Or in a drop of rain,
The mem’ries that we had
Forever will remain.
You shared what you had —
The gifts from high above;
But the one I will remember most
Was your true and kindly love.
You were never weary
And always gently strong.
In your arms you held me
And for you I will ever long.
It’s just another Christmas.
Without you physically here
You’ll always be the angel
Through the season I see near.

Christmas is a time of great joy — and often memories of loss and sorrow. As you celebrate this season, you are seen in your sorrow, in your conflicted joy, in your need. May you find tiny sparks of joy that your loved ones, too, would celebrate.
