Send Love for Christmas
Image created on Canva
Send love for Christmas,
That’s all that I ask.
No shopping is involved —
It’s a simple task.
Open your heart,
And send it my way.
I’ll hold it forever,
And use it some day.
Down deep inside,
Your love will be felt.
So I don’t need new socks,
Or even a new belt,
A toy train would be nice,
To show me you care,
But it will get old,
And collect dust somewhere.
Love never dies,
And never grows old.
With memories made
There are stories to be told.
Just hold my hand,
And walk with me now.
If you send love for Christmas,
We’ll make it,
Somehow.
