Morning Time

Image created onCanva
what time is it? i whisper
no, don’t answer that
we have all the time in the world.
the sky is soft, is it melting?
don’t answer that
we have each other and we’re still alone.
Are You Lonely?
I don’t want to answer that.
the sky is melting now
dripping down our naked bodies
is this how they felt in pompeii?
the end of the world and
what can I do
but lay here next to you
no time at all
and all the time in the world.
