                      Love Poetry: Water Lilly

                      pixel2013

                      Maid Čorbić

I am aware that I am worth someone sometimes

I will not leave you lightly, for you are a part of me

my heart beats constantly for you alone

you are the cure for my soul

My heart beats forever for you alone

and I know you won’t leave me like everyone lightly

It is not in the end of my mind to deceive you

and I leave like everyone else lightly

I can cross the rivers and find you safely

I asked for that most beautiful bouquet of flowers to give you

the girl I really fell in love with, bright velvet hair

                      intelligence captivating with tenderness

in a minute of existence I would give you my heart forever

Even a fraction of you is enough to sustain me for many years

Love has a greater meaning given to us, and I am here

                      to provide everything I can’t

                      and to look my best

and I deceive everyone with my beauty

Love is weird when it happens quite by accident

for beauty and the aspiration to be all that I am and am not

drives me to the tears of a shameful saint

Love is raised when I give it to someone

and even more beautiful when I have it next to me

                      so I explore all possibilities

how to be with you for the rest of my life!
