                      I planted a seed and I waited
My tears kept it well hydrated
A rose grew with thorns that stated
A heart’s weak and should be protected

                      Blooming at night
                      Scared of the light
                      Buried in white
                      Lost at first sight

So I built up a fence and neglected
                      Every blooming romance I suspected
A cloud covered my sun, I expected
Loneliness can’t make me feel rejected

                      Wandering at night
                      Chasing the light
                      Breaking through white
                      Looking for sight

And the flowers trampled, they’re still growing
And the heart that I broke is still beating
Fell in love, now my knees are bleeding
Kisses clean my wounds and I’m healing

                      Blooming in light
                      Sacred night
                      Married in white
                      Love at first sight

A heart yearns to be dedicated
