Salvador Dali had nothing on me,
arrows of light the color of screams.
Traversing delusions, illusions and dreams
Fever and frenzy, the struggle gives way.
Desires and fires burn in the vein.
Darkness takes day, as the light fades away,
voices whisper, “Not that way.”
But the line becomes grey and walk becomes crawl.
And in the end all angels fall.
A knock on the door
A mother cries.
A father sighs.
And everyone says their goodbyes.
