Crush

Miera Rao is a multi-genre writer in California. She was the recipient of the 2022 Effie Lee Morris Literary Award for Poetry, by the Women’s National Book Association – SF Chapter. Her poem also won a third place in the 2024 Dancing Poetry Contest. Rao’s poems are largely inspired by nature and climate change. Her short stories, reflecting experiences of the South Asian diaspora, have been published by the Sand Hill Review Press, Flash Fiction Magazine, and Paper Angel Press, amongst other publications.
