Shipwreck - general fiction writing prompt

Writing prompts are meant to give you ideas and help you stir up those stories you didn’t even know you had within you. I like simple ones, so I give a few suggestions, maybe with a bit of description of the characters, personalities, or plot. But it is completely up to you to create the story that surrounds these prompts. The idea is to have fun and discover your storyteller.

This writing prompt gives a bit of definition, but plenty of room for creating many unique stories.

                      Your characters:

                      • A woman in her eighties, don’t let age fool you!
                      • A man in his late thirties, he is somewhat insecure, but still waters run deep.
                      • A teen, he/or she is very smart. Almost too smart.

                      Your context: A shipwreck.

Cyndi (she/her) is the mama of two grown children and Oma to eight grandchildren, all of whom she adores. She’s a biker chick with a lady’s heart and thirty-nine tattoos that tell some of her life story. Not just a cancer survivor, she’s a life thriver. She also loves painting, and finds the process similar to solving math equations. She has been a writer/poet since the age of nine, her first poem being about God’s Hands. She wrote for Christian Biker Magazine for five years.
