Welcome to the first issue of the MockingOwl Roost in 2023 – the All the Colors issue.

This issue has been exclusively contributed by folks from varying backgrounds around the world, with fiction, poetry, essays, creative nonfiction, and much more. Authors and artists from Saudi Arabia, Australia, the USA, Brazil, Scotland, the UK, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Canada, and Mexico share their experiences through these many artistic mediums. As we read and observe, may we deepen our compassion, develop greater love for people we don’t know, and experience the great joy of expression, even for just a moment.
