This book is an emotional rollercoaster, and I really enjoyed the adrenaline pumping action. Violence, tenderness, love, loyalty, death, and betrayal play across the pages like an intricate melody that never fully resolves.

I’ve personally participated in NaNoWriMo for twelve years already and won eleven years (meaning I completed the 50,000 words on a brand new novel or rewrite of a novel). It wasn’t going to be easy. Since she was practically immobile and reliant on moving at the pace of a pack of turtles, this was going to take some serious work.
